When I was younger, I never fathomed that this velvet blazer would be something I would want to wear. My mom encouraged the over-sized shoulder padded trend and made me wear it to my orchestra performances in grade school. It definitely puts a boxy proportional feel when I'm wearing fitted jeans or a flared skirt. And it also keeps me warm during this gloomy weather...Although I must say, they keep predicting rain but we keep getting sun. It's cold, but there's sun.
