I've been unsurprisingly busy the past few weeks... hence, the lack of posting. I did find time to hang with the gals at Eva Restaurant for DineLA, date night with the bf at RH Restaurant, and my friend's housewarming party at her new fab house. We were looking for French food, which is how we decided upon RH Restaurant, located on Sunset Blvd. right across the street from the House of Blues. It featured an open kitchen, with a chef straight from France, and delish food. I got the lobster appetizer, truffle risotto, and rhumbaba for dessert. Rhumbaba is soft ladyfinger-like balls in rum and sweetened syrup, served with cream and strawberry jam (photo above). The bf had the chocolate pie. New and fun experience, and it was super good. I love how the lights and decorum outside the restaurant somehow brings a reminiscent vibe of Vegas. Bit pricey, good thing it was dineLA week. Oh yea, and the bread was soooo good we asked for it like four times. And lucky us, our waitress actually packed some extra bread to take home with the leftover dessert.
