IndieBrand boy shirt | F21 shorts and heels I ventured into one of the most touristy areas in Los Angeles to watch a Brad Pitt movie, Moneyball. Apart from the loads of traffic in the street just to get to the Hollywood and Highland entrance for the Grauman's theater, the people enveloping the sidewalks actually made me feel like I was in some other city. As you may imagine, me in my school boy shirt and the bf with the camera, we blended right in with the visitors...being Asian also helps. I was happy to roam around without my sweater on, complimentary to the wildly warm weather. I'm not much of a moviegoer... I can sit still in my seat in the library, but fail to refrain from squirming in a dark theater. I realized I have a strange aversion to watching tvs/movies/electronically transmitted products in the dark. Nonetheless, this movie actually kept me quite entertained considering it basically revolved around baseball and stats, lacked any romance, and was dominated by male actors (totally not my field of interest). Still, I recommend. |

New Heels
LF Stores black sweater | Cotton On skirt | UO ankle strap heels After waiting for these ankle strap odd-heel shaped babies, they finally came in the mail. Of course, that meant placing them immediately on my feet and walking around for no good reason. They fit like a charm and I feel like they make my legs look exponentially longer; which is always a plus. Paired with this oversized sweater, which keeps me unbelieveably warm by the way, I was super comfy and satisfied. I'm super excited for the holidays... although I have nothing planned yet. Just waiting for my sisters to get into town. |

Long Lengths
Zara ankle boots | F21 leggings | Top from Korea Haircut time. You know that feeling, when you can't comb your hair through after a shower without catching a tangle... that means I need a haircut. Okay. Trim. It's holiday time. I have a glitter covered wreath hanging on my front door, and the leaves are finally changing colors. And let's not forget the obviously cooler temperatures. Debating if I should take my lazy butt over to the William Rast sample sale... |

Silver Lake
Vintage Evan Piccone velvet blazer | F21 striped skirt | LF Stores shimmer top Semi-aimlessly tagged along with the bf to check out some apartments in the Silver Lake area... They are either perfect with no parking, or a bit too small with parking. The pros and cons have been teeter-tottering quite a bit. Fortunately, most of the locations we perused have either been close to LA Mill or Alcove. Both pretty big winners, but I gotta say Alcove takes the cake. Anyway, having unpredicted the unexpected amounts of walking, I was at least grateful that I wore my comfy ankle boots. I was also equally lucky that I dressed warm enough for when the sun started setting and the breeze set in. On a side note, the almost exactly matching hues of my skirt with the flowers was completely unintentional. |

Fall Sweater Weather?
Cotton On sweater | F21 cordoroy skirt | Jeffrey Campbell lace up sherpa boots Waking up to perfect Fall weather was exactly what I needed. I finally pulled out the red Jeffrey Campbells, tights, and sweater combo. Went for coffee with the bf at the Alcove prior to heading over to Umami Burger and practically drenching everything in their ketchup. My bf is slightly frightened that I might just drink it straight one of these days. I'm on a mission to make sure my Canadian friend experiences everything LA has to offer before she gets shipped back. It all starts with the food. Good thing she isn't vegetarian or scared of high caloric foods. Thus, after lunch, we headed to Scoops. Spent the rest of Saturday verifying my skills in micro-managing of probes and stalkers (for the esoteric few). Sunday was mommy and me day, as we romantically got caught in the rain after going for what appeared to be a semi-sunny afternoon, soaked tennis shoes inclusive. |
