Inbetween Weather

Cotton On sweater; F21 shorts; LF Stores knee high boots; Target socks; necklace gift from sister

I find this inbetween weather troubling and annoying. The not-yet-spring, yet sunny, yet freezing cold. These socks are super comfortable minus the occasional hoisting up and this sweater from Cotton On was a last minute desperate find of something to wear in this cold weather.
On a sidenote: after a heart-wrenching and anger provoking nightmare I experienced last night, my whole day seems a bit off. I've only further realized the extremely pretentious nature of the legal field that I am apparently venturing into and wondering if I'm going to end up a bitter old woman. I hate fakeness and needs to shmooz and kiss-up to random people. Yet, suffering the consequences of failing to do so (and hating those that do it). UGH.

Werewolf v. Vampires

UO werewolf tee; AE distressed shorts; Remi & Reid purse from LF Stores

Chinese New Year was definitely amist everywhere on the strip. There was no way to avoid the redness. Stood along the unnecessary escalating ramp, marveled at the world's largest chocolate fountain, and ate steak for $7.99. Gotta love Vegas. This werewolf tee was an unexpected find at Urban Outfitters while the shorts were a great deal at American Eagle. Who doesn't love finding extremely affordable surprises? However, currently still browsing around for those perfect spring looks that have yet to catch my eye...and yes, werewolves are more my type. I need the warmth.

Outside Magic

ArynK top; F21 skinny jeans; Remi & Reid purse from LF Stores

Outside the Las Vegas Convention Center post-browsing through endless booths. I'm so eager for this season's new styles and cuts. It seems like Spring will never make it when I'm having to re-pull out my coats and umbrella. The weather was fairly nice in Vegas last weekend for the trade show, which makes the LA rain somewhat unbearable. New spring looks, fashion week, and now rain. Yes, I'm being slightly over dramatic but I feel like I've been waiting for the weather to hit 80 degrees since last summer. I love how this top from ArynK is perfect for jeans, but also so easy to put together when looking for something to wear with a suit that isn't a mundane buttoned shirt. Have a vundervul President's day weekend... Perfect opportunity for spring ready-ing my closet.

I'm can't remember the last time that Banana Republic seemed so style-inspiring. But something about these outfits has me reevaluating and falling in love with BR's usually chic, sophisticated, and neutral-tone styles. And these looks from L'Wren Scott epitomizes sexy femininity... Love.

Post V-Day

H&M pinstripe tank and high waisted trousers; F21 shoes and bracelets
Spent the majority of my weekend in Vegas awaiting the Magic Trade Show. Photos to come! My Valentine's Day was thus spent walking around the trade show in the morning, and driving back to LA by evening, spending quality car naps with the bf. <3 These photos were taken last week in the midst of semi-perfect sunny weather... I am devastated to hear that this week will be smothered in raindrops and gloom. Has anyone checked out the Barney's Warehouse sale yet?

Un-Manic Monday

F21 striped maxi dress and shoes; Nation Ltd. open shoulder top; Free People hooded vest

I managed to fit in some photos into an otherwise uneventful Monday. This striped dress from F21 used to be a maxi dress, but after a few times in the wash, it has transformed into a "new" dress. I love how the camera managed to capture me kicking the plastic bag... and how random this yellow snowflake/sand-dollar looking thing just happens to be sitting behind a fence. Reminds me of beach umbrellas and lemonade.

February's Here

Zara high-waisted trousers; Primark t-shirt; Report clogs from LF Stores; F21 sunglasses

Pictures from when there was enough warmth to simply wear a t-shirt a few days ago. Today I'm wearing excessive removeable layers that will probably not be removed. It was brutal crawling out of bed this morning due to the cold. Apparently it'll be nearing 80degrees tomorrow which made me smile while driving to school with the heater on. I love wearing these Report clogs because they are so comfy despite its height...and I got so lucky with these pants because usually Zara pants never fit right on me. Plus I got them for just $15! And I look really happy in the second picture; probably because I'm sitting inside In-n-Out.
