FIRST: American Apparel lame leggings; F21 ankle boots; LF Stores oversized shirt SECOND: Seoul Burger, Pesto Burger, Ono Burger at The Fix THIRD: Michael Kors hooded coat My predictions of having ample time to post was overshadowed by incessant trips with my mom to Ikea, multiple bank-breaking trips to the dentist to my already maxed out credit cards, and quality limited sister time. During one our sister food cravings, we went to The Fix in Silver Lake to grab some popularly yelped burgers. We decided to cut them into thirds to share (they don't come out looking as messy as they do in the photos). It was a cute lil joint. Separately, trekked over to Malibu to the beach to help out with a photo shoot on the one sunny day last week. We were all pretty surprised when we were slightly sweating by the end of the day. And I know, lame leggings are so totally 2008. haha. But they somehow emerged their way out of my closet and back into my line of sight when getting dressed in the morning. Lovely. I was reminded of how they require consistent hoisting-up. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hello 2011~ |

Sunlight Deficiency Delirium

Fluxus scarf; Evan Piccone vintage blazer; F21 jeggings; UO leather backpack The ridiculously incessant rain has me overworking the defroster in the car, instilling a craving for ice cream and refreshing drinks to balance the stuffiness. This meant taking my sisters on a dangerously addictive encounter with New Zealand Natural ice cream. After picking up my friend from the unbelieveably crowded LAX (exceeding the usual), I've been attached to my laptop for the past few hours in the wee morning, with my semi-attention given to Matchstick Men playing on tv. I hate that the weather has prevented my view of the advertised lunar eclipse that apparently was tonight. I also am not a fan of the immobile amount of layers I feel compelled to wear, and not having a viable solution to do something to my hair that is rain-proof. Before I continue on with this stream-of-consciousness complaining, I'm going to finish my tea and go to bed. |

Jeffrey Campbell ankle boots; F21 button down shirt; UO cardigan; DVF sunglasses It's finalized. No more textbooks for at least 2 weeks. Disappointingly, right when I finish, the skies have been gloomy and wet which has hindered my street strolling and outdoor window shopping. Some photos from Larchmont with a brief stop at Calumet to buy a new flash for ze camera. These overly-eyecatching shearling ankle boots are comfy enough to walk endless blocks without a single complaint. Snagged them at LF stores for quite a deal. And somehow, this flowy sleeveless shirt sneaked its way into my otherwise non-pastel colored closet. |

Striped knee high socks, Target; Michael Kors camel coat; Forever 21 lace up boots; American Eagle striped circle scarf John Varvatos Converse Hi-top Leather in Chill/Black Maybe it's just me, but I failed to find any blog-worthy purchases over the Thanksgiving break. The Grove becomes a usual favorite when you just need some fresh air and semi-walking room. It was so incredibly packed, that we ended up parking on the top floor of the parking garage. Much to our surprise, the view from there merited a photo... although the Hollywood sign didn't quite make it in the picture. For some reason, I rarely end up buying anything at the Grove... but this time around, the bf snagged the John Varvatos Converse Hi-tops in chill/black at Nordstroms. Obviously not on sale, but worth it nonetheless. I tried to instill some holiday spirit with the holiday santa house and then called it a day. Now its time to really get crackin on my finals. |
